As the weather starts to heats up so does the summer racing season.  It has been a busy month for running,, remember to drink plenty of water before and after running on these hot summer days.

The Fourth of July-also known as Independence Day or July 4th-has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941, but the tradition of Independence Day celebrations goes back to the 18th century and the American Revolution.

The 19th annual Granville Bryn Du Summer Cross Country 3K will be held Thursday, July 13th starting at 7:10pm at the Bryn Du Mansion.

Title IX of the Civil Rights Act was signed into law on June 23, 1972 by President Richard M. Nixon.
