Filling to capacity is not an easy thing for a first year event to do, but that is exactly what happened as 250 brave souls toed the line for this 10M, 20M and 50K trail race in the desert outside Moab, UT.

November 20, 2008 from press release (WA) The Lilac Bloomsday Run has added a $20,000 purse for US citizens who finish in the top 25 at the 33rd running of the 12-kilometer race next spring. The additional prize money brings the Bloomsday total including open, masters, wheelchairs, and US to over $93,000, one of the largest purses in the country for a non-marathon road race.
