Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships

The second Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships will be held at Voice of America Park, West Chester, Ohio, Saturday, December 6. Established by cross country coaches interested in promoting youth running, the first meet attracted over 700 entries last year in Lexington, Kentucky. The meet looks to attract double that number this year with nationally recognized teams Brocaw Blazers, Philadelphia CYO, Prospect Heights, Greater Cleveland Track Club, Team Kentucky, Jenks America, Batavia Accelerators and Knoxville Track Club among others are scheduled to compete.

Some defending national champions expected to return include Maksim Korolev, Eric Castillo, and Rachel Hardgrave of the Brocaw Blazers, Katherine Rack and Jereme Atchison of Prospect Heights, Rebecca Stover of Knoxville Track Club, Bailey Roth of the Trail Monkeys, and Olivia Sargent of Philadelphia CYO.

Voice of America Park was the site of the 2006 NCAA Division III National Championships and the 2008 USA Track & Field National Club Championships.

All athletes competing in the Mid East Meet are eligible to compete in the Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships. Entry may be completed at www.CoachO.com Check the website below for other athletes from your schools that may be eligible.
