Winter is knocking at our doors as the fall racing season
comes to an end. Many athletes participated in a race on
Thanksgiving Day. Also, a number of athletes finished their
racing season on the cross-country course. Congratulations to
everyone who ran a personal best this year.
Hopefully, you will be able to keep up some of your training
during the winter months. The more easy distance you can do
during the winter will help with your spring and summer races
next year. May the wind always be at your back this winter.
Registration for the Arnold 5K Pump and Run started November
1 st. The first month 351 athletes registered for the event
from 21 States, D.C. and Canada. Last year the Arnold 5K Pump
and Run reached the limit of 600 athletes January 20 th.
However, Race Director; Matt McGowan said, "I feel the limit
could re reached before January 1 st". The Arnold 5K Pump and
Run is the largest event of its' kind in the U.S. There is no
limit on the Arnold 5K (which is just a run only. For more
