After two weeks of muddy courses and windy conditions cross-
country racing is staring to heat up with the Ohio High School
Athletic Association State Cross Country Championships and
colleges and universities Regional and National Championships.Over 900 athletes will race in the 78th Boys and 29th Girls
OHSAA State Cross Country Championships to be held at the
Scioto Downs Track just south of Columbus on Saturday, November
4th. Admission to the grandstands is $8. Listed below is the
race schedule:
11:05 A.M. Division III Boys
11:50 A.M. Division II Boys
12:35 P.M. Division I Boys
1:20 P.M. Division III Girls
2:05 P.M. Division II Girls
2:50 P.M. Division I Girls
If you have never attended this Championships you should make
plans to attend this year to watch Ohio's top high school
distance runners race in an electric atmosphere.

The Men and Women's NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional Cross
Country Championships will be held on November 4th at Wayne E.
Dannehl National Cross Country Course Kenosha, Wisconsin. The
event is hosted by the University of Wisconsin, Parkside
The Men and Women's AMC Region IX/X Cross Country Championships
will be held at Tiffin University on November 4th. Race times:
Men's 8km - 10:30am, women's 5km - 11:15am.
The Men and Women's NCAA Division I Great Lakes Regional Cross
Country Championships will be held November 11th at Bowling
Green State University's
Forrest Creason Golf Course. Race times: Women's 6km -11:00 am,
Men's 10km - 12:15 pm.
The Men and Women's NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional
Cross Country Championships will be held November 11th at the
L.S. Ayres Complex at: Hanover College. Men's 8km race starts
at 11 a.m; Women's 6km race begins at noon
The National Christian Cross Country Championships will be held
at Cedarville College on November 11th.
The Men and Women's NCAA Division III National Cross Country
Championships
will be held November 18th at the Voice of America Park. The
Championships is hosted by Wilmington College. Race times Men's
8km - 11 a.m., Women's 6km - noon.
The NCAA 68th Men's and 26th Women's Division I National Cross
Country Championships is scheduled for November 20 at Wabash
Valley Family Sports Center. The Championships is hosted by
Indiana State University. Race times: Women's 6km - Noon, Men's
10km - 1:15 p.m.
The 51st Annual Men's and 27th NAIA Women's Cross Country
National Championships
Will be held at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville,
Kentucky on Saturday, November 18 - Women's 5km - 10:30 a.m.,
Men's 8km 11:30 a.m.
