Hopefully, you are doing ok with the weather we have been
having
the past few weeks. Some areas have been hit hard with rain and
most
of us have been battling the hot weather. Please remember with
the hot
and humid weather to reduce your workouts and try for that
personal
best when the weather cools. Don't forget to drink plenty of
water during
the day. Here are two heat related articles by Dr. Julie

Many runners will start official cross-country practice this
month. Good
luck with your training and remember to start slow and run
cautiously
during the hot and humid days. Hopefully, the weather breaks
soon and
before long we will be able to enjoy the cool fall air.
