June RUNOHIO E-Newsletter
Numerous races were held last weekend to honor our
Veterans. It was also a time for all to reflect on this
important day in our history. According to the History
Channel - "Memorial Day is much more than a three-day weekend
that marks the beginning of summer. To many people, especially
the nation's thousands of combat veterans, this day, which has
a history stretching back all the way to the Civil War, is an
important reminder of those who died in the service of their
country." One television news station described Memorial Day
as - "A Day to Remember All Who Fought for Freedom - A Freedom
Which Makes All Other Holidays Possible."
Thank you.
