The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon will have all 50 states
represented in its 10th anniversary field for Flying Pig
Marathon weekend, May 3-4. "We are so pleased that the reach of the Flying Pig Marathon
has stretched across the country," said Iris Simpson-Bush,
executive director. "While it isn't the first time that we have
had all 50 states represented, it's the earliest that we have
had all the states included in the field. Our 10th anniversary
is certainly a milestone that the whole country has noticed."
In addition to all 50 states, 14 nations have representatives
in the field, including the Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Costa
Rica, Ecuador, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Panama,
Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Venezuela and the
Virgin Islands.

The 10th annual Flying Pig Marathon weekend will be Friday, May
2-Sunday, May 4, 2008, featuring the full marathon, Half
Marathon presented by National City and Ernst & Young 4-Person
Relay, Business Courier CEO Challenge, Toyota 10K, 5K and the
Piglet presented by First Watch, The Enquirer and Children's
Hospital. Other events include the National City Expo and
Expotique and Duke Energy Pasta "Pig Out" Dinner. Presenting
sponsors are Duke Energy, National City, CoActive Marketing
Group, Ernst and Young and Paycor.
The Flying Pig Marathon was named one of the top 10 "Most Fun
Runs" by Runner's World magazine, one of the best corporate
brands by Fast Company and is listed in "The Traveling
