For the fourth time since 1995, Ohio Northern University will
be the host
institution for the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field
Championships when the
event returns to the ONU Sports Center March 14-15.Ohio Northern has previously hosted the 1995, 1999 and 2002
Indoor Track &
Field Championships to rave reviews and capacity crowds.
"Hosting this event for a fourth time shows what a quality meet
that Ohio
Northern has put on in the past," ONU head coach Brian Cole
said. "We are
proud to be the first school in the country to host this event
four times. The
facility is one of the finest in the country and the support
from the
University community, the Village of Ada and the surrounding
communities is
fantastic."
The two-day event is expected to bring standing room only
crowds approaching
6,000 from all over the country.
The ONU Sports Center is nationally known for having a fast
track.
