RUNGRANVILLE

The Running Club of Granville - RUNGRANVILLE haa been formed to promote running as a sport and a form of healthy exercise. The club is one of newest running club in Ohio as it was started February 2005. RUNGRANVILLE lets you connect with other runners through fun runs, timed events, regular meetings and social events, newsletters and e-forums. You can choose to participate or help conduct club activities that promote the sport of running in Granville, Licking County and Central Ohio

The Club is open to anyone with an interest in running and/or jogging, regardless of sex, race, age, or ability, and promotes running at all levels. We seek members from Granville and surrounding areas to become part of the Club. Whether you are a fitness jogger, fun runner, competitive runner, or a combination of all three, you are invited to join RUNGRANVILLE. Come join others who share your passion and enthusiasm for running!

The second annual Granville Bryn Du Summer Cross Country Series kicked off with the first of four races on Thursday, June 28th at 7:30 p.m. Registration is from 6 - 7pm on race days at the Bryn Du Mansion (537 Jones Road, Granville, 43023). The races are sponsored by the RunGranville Running Club and RUNOHIO and are held on the grounds of the Bryn Du Mansion.

Race dates and distances: June 28th - 3km, July 12th - 3km, July 26th - 5km and August 9th - 5km - 7:15pm start

Entry fee is $5, $4 for students and $2 for club members. Race t-shirts will be on sale for $10. Awards include a yellow Bryn Du Summer Cross Country Series t-shirts for the overall and top master (40 and over) men and women winners, medals for top finishers and a random drawings from all finishers (need to fill out finish card and turn it in after the race). Please, races open to runners 12 years of age or older.
